Who We Are
What Makes Us, Us.
Based on A Referral Business Model…
Over 90% of our new business comes from referrals.
There is a certain mystique that comes along with being a referral-driven company.
Even so, there is really no mystery to the business model:
- We keep our Clients happy, they stay happy with us.
- We like it that way.
More on what makes us, Us below:
We stand by our quotes. We don’t “do” estimates.
The reason we are able to provide Hard Quotes is that we take the discovery time necessary to determine precisely what needs to be done and how it will be done before we touch the code.
What this means is that our Clients know exactly what they are getting and precisely what it will cost to accomplish the work.
When you work with SunAnt, you’re always working with an owner.
What this means:
- Your point of contact has full authority to make executive decisions.
- There is no disconnect between SunAnt personnel & where their paychecks come from.
Our Clients stay with us and new Clients sign with us because they know they can trust us.
One of the common compliments we receive is that we are very “down-to-earth.”
Of course, part of it has to do with the fact that we are Mid-westerners.
- we work hard
- we are honest
- we let our work do the talking
- we don’t take ourselves too seriously
- we are casual in our business-dealings
- we treat people with dignity and in so doing build a good deal of trust and goodwill.
- we like to put our clients and prospects at ease and to build their confidence in us and in their own mastery of the services we provide them.
We’ve decades of experience among us.
We’ve developed literally hundreds upon hundreds of Websites between us, produced dozens of custom enterprise applications, and have executive level managerial experience, as well as small business management experience.
We have extensive experience in the following industries:
- Real Estate
- Automotive Retail
- Restaurant & Hospitality
- Professional Services
We know how businesses function, respect the unique challenges our Clients face, and do what we can to apply our expertise to each Client’s benefit.
Our governing business philosophy is Ethical Profitability. It’s part of the reason we started this business. There is a way to conduct business properly that does not mean having to compromise oneself. We intend to make our way while keeping our integrity in tact.
- We never sell or build anything a client doesn’t need (even if they really, really want it).
- We never suggest anything we would not do if we were in the Client’s shoes.
- We treat our Clients’ budgets as if they were our own, looking out for their ROI at every turn.
Like a Good Doctor, we always “give it to you straight”. We have no patience with wasting people’s time or having our time wasted.
People pay us to have opinions. We are not order-takers. We tell it like it is because our Clients deserve the full benefit of our hard-earned expertise. We are a no Bulls**t Shop, to be sure. Partners James Shore (’69-’09), Anthony “TJ” Bodden, Damon Padovano and Matt Collins like to believe that our Clients appreciate this about us and that our honesty and directness distinguish us from the throngs of other web providers. You’ll notice it when we first speak. But you’ll also notice that we make a point to provide value well before the sale.
We’re production people. Not sales people, Dammit! In fact, several clients have opted to work with us precisely out of their frustration with other web vendors’ aggressive sales approach. We prefer a softer sales approach, wherein we demonstrate our willingness to invest in the relationship with a prospect.
We respect businesspeople because we are businesspeople ourselves. Our Prospects and Clients alike pick up on this.
Yes, we can be a little “rough around the edges”… but at heart, we do what we can to help people who are much nicer than we are. One cause we have had the honor of assisting for several years is a Spinning Marathon to Benefit Pattison’s Academy, which is a therapeutic summer camp for disabled children located in South Carolina. Of course, our work is the easiest part… the heavy lifting is done by the organizers of the event.
We do pro bono work to the degree possible, knowing there are innumerable excellent cause-related organizations in need of services like ours. Pattison’s Academy is a worthy cause. And it is our pleasure to be a part of the effort to make sure the camp remains an exciting summer destination for kids with multiple disabilities.
If you have need for pro bono web development and/or marketing and/or interactive consultation, please let us know. We’d be happy to speak with you. 262 641 2613.
