If you’re working with a web developer, or an internet marketing consultant, chances are they will need access to your Google Analytics data.

Below are some simple steps to easily set up third parties to access to your Google Analytics data:

• Sign into the Google Analytics account: https://www.google.com/analytics/ ga setup
• Then, in Google Analytics, while viewing the website profile:
• Click ‘User Manager’ (at the bottom of the screen)
• Click ‘Add User’
• Enter the user’s email address
• Select the Access type for this user: Account Administrator (or for more restrictive access, select “User”
• Click ‘Finish’ to complete the process

If you are using the new Google Analytics interface (currently in Beta), here are the instructions:

• After you sign in, and then click the gear icon in the top/right of the screen:

• Then, click the tab named “Users”, which is found under the “Profiles” tab: ga click the users tab
• Then, enter the email address of the person you want to add, select the access level (Administrator or User), then click the Create User button.
